Its quite expensive nowadays for the people in our community to access hospitals after falling sick just because their income is still low and the responsibilities they have are too demanding.

As HESAI team led by DR GILBERT ATEGEKA head of health department, we conducted research in our community and found out that most people are suffering from diseases which can be prevented without need of spending alot of money in hospitals after falling sick.

DR GILBERT in his words says

I found out that people are spending all their had earned money sicking for treatment in the nearby hospitals, Yes its good for someone to visit a hospital when he/she falls sick and i always encourage people to sick medical advice but another thing i’ve discovered is that some people risk their lives as if its not important, How can you eat food without washing hands first with clean water and soap? He asks! I also found out that only few people wash their hands with clean water and soap after visiting latrines;

HESAI organisation thats why we have decided to build simple mobile plastic taps in our community so that people can wash their hands just after visiting latrines or for mothers just after cleaning their babies so as to fight these preventable diseases in the community we serve.
