HIV/AIDS Continues to be a major challenge in Uganda and Sub – Saharan African at large.
Inspite of all measures put in place to make sure that people are aware of HIV/AIDS, Some factors hinder the fighting of the dangerous killer virus like poverty and peer pressure.
But as HESAI atleast were proud that in the community we serve, people are now aware of the deadly virus and atleast they fear it though some challenges are still hindering them.
We managed to encourage people to go for testing, start medication if positive and as well as use protection + be faithful if negative which atleast works some how.
When we started sensitisation in the community, some were already ignorant about the disease which cause death and living young orphan infants suffering but thank God HESAI now we quickly came to help save lives.
