During our operation in the areas we represent, we found a vulnerable family sleeping in leaking house.
Now that heavy rain months have approached in our areas which usually goes up to year end in December and sometimes January.
It had just stopped raining around 4:00 pm in the evening, I remember water was still spiting out of the roof, all people in the house was freezing since it was too cold, I quickly grabbed my smartphone and logged in to my weather app, the temperatures was 55.4 degrees fahrenheit, oh my God, it was really really cold.
I quickly whispered to HESAI members I was with that time and we asked our selves,
“how will these people survive tonight”?
we didn’t have what to do that time, remember it was getting late in the evening, but the following day we organized as we normally do.
Got local made bricks, we bought timber cement, sand and other requirements.
Soon or later, Our vulnerable family will be smiling courtesy of HESAI organization.
